The MKII Gloves use a specially combined five layer system which provides the wearer with not only a high level of hand protection but also offers a unique custom fit for every size / shape hand whislt also protecting your sparring partner. Each and every layer has a purpose.
1st layer – protects the sparring partner

4th & 5th layer – provides the custom fit
The glove is ergonomically contoured to follow the natural shape of the hand whilst the layered padding keeps the metacarpals also protected and the wrist area is well padded for support as well as protection from contact from oponents elbows etc. This also allows for easy fist closure and promotes correct punching techinque thus reducing the risk of injury.
We spent 2 years of research to come up with the MKII Glove, and what we found was that other Gloves that were good for protection were not the most comfortable and Gloves that were comfortable were not very protective so we wanted to create a Glove that would provide both. The MKII Gloves use a combination of high density padding and open cell padding as well as a layer of horse hair substitute. High Density foam offer good protection and open cell foam provide comfort and fit. What we also found was that some other gloves on the market fell very short when offering protection to the sparring partner and this is an important factor when sparring which has also been implemented into the MKII Gloves.
The Gloves are all handmade and double stitched to ensure strength and durability and are finished with premium quality cow hide leather and each and every pair are hand inspected before leaving the factory.
